WEREGEEK JOINS KEENSPOT
Keenspot Welcomes Popular Alina Pete Gaming Comic
Apple Valley, CA, July 30, 2008 - As first announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego's annual Keenspot panel on Saturday, the popular gaming comic WEREGEEK by Alina Pete has joined the webcomics network.
WEREGEEK is a fun mix of reality and fantasy that blurs the line between role-playing games and real-life. Hunted by mysterious foes, the Weregeeks have taken to the shadows and game only by the light of the full moon. When Mark, a "normal" guy, gets bitten by the gaming bug, he has to come to terms with his new life as a geek. "I'm trying to show that role-playing games are really not as weird as people think, and that geeks have regular lives and jobs too," said creator Alina Pete.
Said Keenspot CEO Chris Crosby, "It's awesome to have WEREGEEK and Alina Pete on the Keenspot network. "Not only is it a lot of fun, it's a rare unique twist on the gaming geek comic."
"I'm really excited about being a part of Keenspot," said Pete. "There's already some great gaming comics on the 'Spot, and I'm happy to join their ranks."
A new comic can be found every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at weregeek.com.

Keenspot Launches New Webcomic From Gisele Lagace And Dave Zero1
Cresbard, SD, May 19, 2008 - MENAGE A 3, a new webcomic from Gisele Lagace (PENNY & AGGIE, COOL CAT STUDIO) and Dave Zero1, has debuted on Keenspot. The comic chronicles the life of a comic book geek and his hipper roommates in their tiny Montreal apartment. It is scheduled to update three times per week and is suggested for mature readers.
"Montreal's a great town, and Dave and I have had a blast seeing the funny, sexy side of life out here," said artist and co-writer Gisele Lagace. "We're looking forward to sharing it with you."
"I'm a newcomer to webcomics and feel quite honored to begin this journey at Keenspot," said co-writer Dave Zero1. "I hope the Keenspot audience likes our little strip as much as we like working on it."
Set in Montreal, the finest bohemian city in North America, MENAGE A 3 follows the lives of comic book geek Gary and his way-sexier-than-he-is roommates in their Montreal tight-as-a-sandwich apartment where the walls are so thin there are virtually no barriers between their rooms.
A new comic can be found every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at menagea3.net.

KEENSPOT MOVES TO "TEMPLAR, ARIZONA"
Spike's Acclaimed Webcomic Joins Keenspot Network
Cresbard, SD, March 28, 2008 - Keenspot is honored to announce that Templar, Arizona has joined the Keenspot line-up. The award-winning webcomic by Spike has been a runaway critical hit since it debuted online in May 2005.
"My years of fiendish machinations have finally borne fruit!" said Spike, who describes Templar as "a story about a town that doesn't exist, and the people who live there."
"It's awesome to have Templar on Keenspot," said Keenspot CEO Chris Crosby. "It's a captivating story full of original characters and ideas, and the subtle alternate universe elements are icing on the cake."
The comic follows Ben Kowalski, a recent transplant from Yakima, Washington, a writer for a local alternative paper, and a dedicated hermit. His only friendships in Templar have been forced upon him; the acquaintance of a kindergartener named Zoradysis, and the determined attentions of his overbearing and flamboyantly obscene neighbor, Reagan. He needs to get out more, and he's gonna, whether he likes it or not.
Templar, Arizona can be found at templaraz.com.
